The Vineyard will re-open Monday to Saturday from mid April 2012
Wines & Tour Vouchers can be ordered direct from our online shop 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year (366 days in 2012).
Vouchers that are due to expire can, in some cases, be renewed. Please see the tours and events page for more information.
The Vineyard Trail
Visitors are welcome to do a ‘diy’ tour of the vineyard at their own leisure. There is no charge to do this and staff will provide you with an information sheet and vineyard map so you don’t get lost! Feel free to come at any time and watch the seasons change, a lovely walk any time of year. You may even catch sight of some of the wildlife and birds that also call Shawsgate home. Dogs are welcome on leads when accompanied by responsible owners.
Location
Shawsgate is located on the Badingham Road (B1120) between Framlingham & Badingham.
Shawsgate is well signposted with brown signs across the county including:
From the West: A14/A1120 at Stowupland - approx 22 miles.
From the South: A140/A1120 at The Stonhams - approx 16 miles.
From the Suffolk Coast (South): A12/B1116 at Wickham Market - approx 8 miles.
From the Suffolk Coast (North): A12/A1120 at Yoxford - approx 13 miles.
Please note public transport does not pass the vineyard. Buses do go from Framlingham which is a good 1.5 mile walk. Taxi firms are available for our events, however these should be booked well in advance. Our postcode for SAT NAV’s is IP13 9HZ. However if it takes you to a field entrance please continue down the road for a bit longer! Also please be aware that there are a number of Badingham Roads so please either use our postcode or the road number (B1120) and not the road name.
